Responsibilities
- Complete small to medium maintenance and repairs for home and commercial projects, ranging from two hours to two days.
- Communicate with customers to help them understand their needs, manage expectations about scope and costs, and create life-long repeat customers.
- Follow the Mr. Handyman Way, a repeatable process to ensure customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Live within the area.
- Have 8+ years’ experience as a paid handyman.
- Own your own tools.
- Be insurable for driving a company vehicle.
- Complete a background and driving record check.
- Able to lift 50 pounds independently.
- Able to safely work at heights and overhead for extended periods.
- Maintain a professional appearance and company-provided vehicle.
Qualifications
Strong proficiency in at least three of the following:
- Carpentry work
- Bathroom improvements
- Kitchen improvements
- Painting (interior and exterior)
- Drywall work (minor and major repairs)
- General plumbing and electrical (where allowed by law)
- Floor installation and refurbishing

Pay
The pay range for this position is $28.00 to $35.00 per hour, dependent on experience in handyman services and related home repair projects. Compensation also includes bonus opportunities, with total earnings ranging from $52,000 to $75,000 annually.
