Key Responsibilities
- Prepare Plumbing and Fire Protection designs, calculations, cost estimates, reports and specifications for building focused projects.
- Conduct field surveys.
- Meet with clients to discuss project matters and make recommendations based on client needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- AutoCAD, REVIT proficiency.
- Familiarity with hydraulic calculations, applicable building codes, and cost estimating.
- Experience with Microstation and Bentley 3D.
- LEED AP, CPD, or NICET certifications preferred.
Required Experience
- 7 years of relevant experience designing various facilities.
- Experience with industrial, commercial, educational, institutional, and governmental projects.
- Focused experience with industrial projects, state agency projects, and/or local municipal projects.
- Good planning, organizational, and communication skills.
