Plumbing/Fire Protection Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare Plumbing and Fire Protection designs, calculations, cost estimates, reports and specifications for building focused projects.
• Conduct field surveys.
• Meet with clients to discuss project matters and make recommendations based on client needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• AutoCAD, REVIT proficiency.
• Familiarity with hydraulic calculations, applicable building codes, and cost estimating.
• Experience with Microstation and Bentley 3D.
• LEED AP, CPD, or NICET certifications preferred.

Required Experience

• 7 years of relevant experience designing various facilities.
• Experience with industrial, commercial, educational, institutional, and governmental projects.
• Focused experience with industrial projects, state agency projects, and/or local municipal projects.
• Good planning, organizational, and communication skills.
