Plumbing Excavator Operator

About the role

F.H. Furr is seeking an experienced Residential Excavation Technician who can take pride in their work, operate heavy equipment safely, and solve complex underground problems.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate heavy equipment, especially excavators, to perform residential excavation work
• Excavate for sewer line repairs, replacements, water service lines, and drainage systems
• Work closely with drain and plumbing technicians to expose, repair, or replace underground systems
• Perform trenching, backfilling, grading, and site restoration to company standards

Requirements

• Proven experience operating excavators and/or other heavy equipment in residential work
• Experience with trenching, digging around utilities, and working in tight residential spaces preferred
• Professional communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
• Comfortable using mobile devices or tablets for job updates and documentation
• Valid driver’s license (must be at least 21 per company policy)

Pay

$75,000.00 - $95,000.00/Yr.
