PLUMBING ESTIMATOR

Reports to: Jason Miller. Salary: $65,000–85,000. Additional compensation: cell phone.

We are seeking a highly qualified Mechanical Estimator with a minimum of 5+ years of experience estimating mechanical and plumbing projects valued up to $20 million. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of delivering complex projects on time, within budget, and in compliance with construction drawings and specifications. This is an in-office position; no remote or hybrid arrangements are available.

Responsibilities

• Develop new customers and new business initiatives to accomplish the company’s sales ambitions.
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with key personnel at potential and existing customers; act as the main sales point of contact.
• Create sales quotations that meet customers’ requirements.
• Forecast, track, and report key metrics (e.g., quarterly forecasts and quarterly sales results).
• Perform research, generate leads, follow up on incoming leads, and maintain a pipeline of potential new customers and new market opportunities.
• Organize and chair Business Review Meetings with existing customers and Introduction Meetings with new customers.
• Maintain close communication with internal teams and leverage capabilities to provide customers with a customer-centric experience.
• Clearly communicate customer requirements to internal stakeholders and suggest actions to improve sales performance.

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years’ experience with very strong knowledge in estimating Mechanical, HVAC, Piping, and Plumbing.
• Able to estimate projects ranging from $25,000 to $50,000,000.
• Willing to travel to pre-bid meetings or job walks if required.
• Knowledge of estimating software such as FastPipe, FastDuct, FastWrap, or equivalent.
• Experience managing multiple account portfolios.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
• Highly organized and solution-oriented.
• Detail-oriented and able to prioritize effectively.

Pay

Base salary range: $65,000–85,000 per year. Additional compensation includes a company cell phone.
