Plumbing Engineer
Skills
- Familiarity with specification writing
- Performing field verification and take-offs of existing systems for renovation projects
- Coordinating with other disciplines
- Developing calculations for Plumbing system sizing
- Thorough knowledge of local Plumbing Codes
- Understanding work planning and managing the design process to the available hours in the plan
- Able to meet with clients and work with contractors
- Oversee deliverables to and from clients
- Take ownership of assignments and work both independently and as part of the project team
Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Proficient in Auto CAD and Revit
- Strongly motivated, well organized, and shows professional initiative
- Excellent communication skills
- Proactive and collaborative team member
- Previous experience in designing Healthcare, Commercial, Higher Education and Laboratory projects is a plus
- PE License strongly preferred
