Key Responsibilities
- Design and construction administration of plumbing and fire protection systems for both new and renovated building projects across multiple markets.
- Develop high-quality drawings, specifications, and deliverables at each phase of the design process.
- Provide mentorship and contribute to strengthening engineering expertise within the firm.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners through regular project meetings and coordination sessions.
- Work closely with architects, engineers, interior designers, and subconsultants to produce coordinated drawing sets.
- Participate in site visits and field investigations alongside team members to support project needs.
- Engage in interviews and pursuits for new project opportunities.
- Support firmwide Social and Eco initiatives that advance our Triple Bottom Line and B Corp commitments.
Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- 5+ years of relevant design experience in the building industry.
- Project experience in healthcare, laboratories, higher education, or government facilities preferred.
- Proficiency in the use of Revit and engineering modeling tools.
- Use of cloud-based and mobile technology for project collaboration.
