Plumbing Design Engineer

Job Details

• Draft Plumbing construction drawings including details, plans, and sections
• Perform Plumbing-related calculations
• Design Plumbing systems for various building types
• Select appropriate Plumbing equipment
• Cookordination with other engineering and architectural trades during design
• Develop construction documents in AutoCAD and Revit
• Participate in developing details, equipment schedules, and specifications
• Research and assess building performance and other regulations
• Contribute to design discussions and carry design concepts through to project drawings
• Contribute to sustainable design discussions and implement sustainable strategies
• Cookordination and communication with other team members

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Computer Aided Drafting
• Minimum 8 years of experience working for a consulting engineering firm
• Ability to work with minimal assistance from senior staff
• PE license not required but a plus
• AutoCAD and/or Revit experience required
