Frazier Plumbing, Heating & Air, a family-owned business founded in 1936 and serving Somerset, PA, is seeking a skilled Plumber to join our team. We specialize in repair work (60%), new construction (20%), and drain cleaning (20%).

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated plumber to handle a variety of residential and commercial plumbing tasks, including repairs, installations, and advanced drain cleaning using our state-of-the-art equipment. This role offers the opportunity to work with modern tools like our new General Pipe Cleaners JM-3000 gas-powered water jetter, which is transforming how we tackle tough clogs and blockages.

Responsibilities

• Perform plumbing repairs, installations, and maintenance for residential and commercial customers.
• Operate and maintain advanced drain-cleaning equipment, including water jetters and cable machines.
• Diagnose and clear blockages in pipes, sewer lines, and drains using high-pressure water jets, sectional machines, or drum machines.
• Work on long runs to septic systems, grease-clogged lines, sand/silt blockages, and frozen pipes.
• Handle jobs involving soap deposits, grease, mud, shale, acorns, and other debris.
• Use tools like Vibra-pulse to navigate tight bends, traps, and vents in drain lines.
• Collaborate with a team of experienced plumbers and family members to deliver high-quality service.
• Maintain and operate company equipment, including trucks, water jetters, and traditional drain-cleaning machines.
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients about their plumbing issues.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a plumber, with a strong background in repairs, installations, and drain cleaning.
• Familiarity with a variety of plumbing tools and equipment, including water jetters, cable machines, and sectional machines.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex plumbing issues, such as blockages, leaks, and pipe damage.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and techniques, such as high-pressure water jetting.
• Physical stamina and strength to handle demanding jobs, including working in tight spaces, lifting heavy equipment, and operating machinery.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Skills

• Proficiency in using water jetters, cable machines, and other drain-cleaning equipment.
• Knowledge of plumbing systems, including sewer lines, floor drains, and vent pipes.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Experience with both residential and commercial plumbing projects.
