PBI is a leading plumbing contractor in the Carolinas, trusted by builders and homeowners. We're seeking dedicated team members to join our growing team.
Responsibilities
- Assist plumbing technicians with installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems
- Transport tools, materials, and equipment to and from job sites
- Support basic plumbing tasks under supervision
- Communicate effectively with technicians and supervisors
- Load and unload trucks and haul and hoist materials
- Maintain required housekeeping in assigned work areas
- Attend company meetings, trainings, and events
- Adhere to, and enforce PBI core values, policies, and standard operating procedures
- Learn and comply with local and state plumbing codes and specifications, as well as manufacturer specifications for all materials use and standard operating procedures
- Safely and properly operate company vehicles and equipment, including following the company procedures for vehicle's operations and maintenance
- Follow all PBI and OSHA safety guidelines and requirements. Ensure all work meets safety standards and follows best practices
Requirements
- Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Basic problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of hand and power tools preferred
- Ability to work under extreme conditions that include, but not limited to: adverse or extreme weather, lifting of heavy objects, hand digging, and working in tight spaces
Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years of proven experience in Account Payable/Account Receivable related role required
- A minimum of 2 years of proven experience in IT Support role required
- Associates degree or greater in a related field preferred (e.g., Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Construction Management)
- Strong knowledge of plumbing materials, fixtures, and pricing preferred
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Office suite preferred
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy
- Ability to work effectively and independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Skills

- Software and hardware technologies, networks, operating systems, and applications
- Experience with Active Directory and other systems
- Experience with MFA, phishing awareness, and patch compliance
- Experience with GHA and other suppliers
- Experience with IT ticketing and application management
- Experience with user account management and access controls
- Experience with IT inventory management
- Experience with IT equipment procurement and hardening
