About the Role

The Plumber is responsible for installing and maintaining plumbing systems in commercial buildings. Working with the foreman, this includes slabs, DWV, water rough-ins, fixture set-outs, gas piping, grease traps, main sewer lines, main waterlines, troubleshooting, and ensuring all work meets local code requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality workmanship and verify that installations meet project specifications and applicable plumbing codes.
• Maintain a clean jobsite and company vehicle.
• Complete required documentation, service tickets, and safety checklists.
• Follow company safety protocols and best practices.
• Train apprentices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial plumbing experience.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Reliable transportation.
• Strong understanding of plumbing codes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and plumbing plans.
• Measure, cut, thread, solder, braze, and press all types of pipe and fittings.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and use ladders safely.
• Reliable, punctual, flexible, and able to work independently or with a team.
• Willing to work out of town, nights, and weekends as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Machine operator experience (mini ex, skid steer, lifts).
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
