About the role

The Plumber Supervisor position involves assigning, reviewing, and evaluating the work of Senior Plumbers, Plumbers, and helpers engaged in various plumbing tasks. The supervisor also ensures adherence to safety protocols and maintains compliance with relevant codes and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assigns, reviews, and evaluates the work of Senior Plumbers, Plumbers, and helpers.
• Ascertains procedures and methods for installing plumbing systems.
• Applies supervisory standards and techniques to build and maintain an effective work group.

Requirements

• Four years of full-time paid experience as a journey-level plumber.
• A valid Certificate of Qualification as a journey-level plumber issued by the City of Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety.

Qualifications

• A valid Class C driver’s license issued by the California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV).
• A certificate for Backflow Prevention Device Tester issued by the Los Angeles County Health Department (for some positions).
• A valid certification for Chief’s Regulation #4 Certified Tester issued by the Los Angeles Fire Department (for some positions).
