Plumber - Licensed

About the role

Polk Mechanical is seeking a Licensed Plumber to install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial environments. The role requires a valid plumbing license, strong technical expertise, and the ability to work independently while ensuring all work complies with applicable codes and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, fixtures, and piping.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues and determine necessary repairs.
• Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national plumbing codes.
• Perform testing, inspections, and system verification as required.
• Coordinate with supervisors, project managers, and other trades.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Complete required documentation and job‑related paperwork.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a plumber in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
• Experience working independently and completing jobs to code standards.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems and installation methods.
• Valid plumbing license (required).
• Valid driver’s license (required).
• Relevant trade certifications preferred.

Skills

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in varying indoor and outdoor environments.
