Plumber Lead

About the role
Installs, maintains, and repairs water, steam, condensate, pneumatic, fuel oil, natural gas, medical gasses, fire main, soil drain and sewer piping, valves, pumps, traps, regulators, distribution infrastructure, and fittings in accordance with applicable codes and regulations. Provides indirect guidance and project-specific management to others. Performs demand and scheduled preventive maintenance of facility equipment, primarily plumbing and associated systems, adhering to departmental, hospital, and regulatory agency codes. Maintains facilities and equipment in a hospital or clinic environment. May work various shifts and weekends to meet hospital needs, including travel to other BCHS facilities for maintenance work. Performs other duties as assigned.

- 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Monday – Friday
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent / Technical School
- Medical Gas Certification
- Plumber Journeyman Apprentice Graduate
- 10 years plumbing experience
- 5 years experience in a hospital setting
Preferred Qualifications
- Journeyman Plumbing License
- 5 years hospital maintenance experience
