Plumber II

About the role

This position is synonymous with an “Apprentice” position in the trades. This position has 3 or more years of experience and is considered to have in-depth knowledge of plumbing but still requires some assistance. The Plumber II repairs and replaces plumbing systems, supports and equipment for commercial and industrial applications and is supervised by a Plumber III or above. In-depth knowledge of plumbing applications.

Responsibilities

• Lay out, assemble, install, and maintain plumbing systems.
• Repair and replace plumbing systems, supports, and equipment for commercial and industrial applications.
• Document work by completing paperwork and backup documentation.
• Uphold high standards of safety at all times.
• Work to increase personal growth and knowledge of plumbing applications.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years’ experience.
• Effective communicator with customers and management.
• Self-starter with high energy level.
• This is a safety-sensitive position.

Physical requirements

• Able to work in a physically demanding environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Frequent bending and lifting, standing and walking over uneven terrain or in confined spaces.
• Ability to safely climb ladders.
