This opportunity is full-time at 40 hours per week, offers full benefits and a convenient day shift schedule. Wellington Regional Medical Center is located in Wellington, Florida. Responsibilities

  • Assumes responsibility and accountability for hospital plumbing, mechanical, and electrical equipment.
  • Performs preventative maintenance and needed repairs or upgrades on all hospital mechanical equipment in accordance with national and local codes, facility guidelines and manufacturers' recommendations.
  • Assures that all equipment operates within the established limits set by the manufacturers of the equipment.
  • Must be willing to cross-train and assist in other trade areas to meet the needs of the facility.
  • Directly accountable to the Director of Plant Operations and also under the direction of the Administrative Supervisor for a given work shift or time period in the absence of the manager.

Qualifications

  • Two-three (2-3) years' experience in building maintenance is preferable in a Health Care Facility.
  • Mechanical, Plumbing, Electrical, Carpentry, Painting, Drywall installation/finishing and locksmith experience.
  • Must have experience with steam boilers, boilers and knowledge of water testing.
