Responsibilities
- Work as part of a team to learn and perform tasks assigned by the plumbing superintendent and lead plumber.
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in commercial or public buildings.
- Operate specialized machinery, equipment, and tools for plumbing repairs and installations.
- Assemble pipe sections, tubing, and fittings using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, plastic solvent, caulking, soldering, brazing, and welding equipment.
- Install plumbing equipment such as sinks, tubs, toilets, water heaters, appliances, and trim.
- Ensure water supply networks and waste drainage systems are functioning properly.
- Assemble and install valves and fittings.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience as a plumbing apprentice in commercial or residential installation, or an equivalent combination of vocational training and experience.
- Journeyman or Master Plumbers License preferred.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Overtime may be necessary.

- Ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues with systematic, thoughtful, and effective solutions.
- Demonstrate proper and safe use of tools and related equipment.
- Experience providing quality, professional customer-related services.
- Ability to work and communicate effectively both individually and in a team environment.
- Ability to handle disruptions professionally.
- Ability to work independently in a commercial setting.

Pay
$16 - $37 an hour.
Physical Demands & Working Conditions
- Frequent use of hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
- Must be able to sit, talk, hear, and stand frequently throughout the day.
- Must be able to climb, reach above shoulder height, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl frequently.
- Occasional lifting of heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and performing strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions.
- Exposure to varying temperatures and all weather conditions at outside job sites.
- May work with or around typical construction materials and chemicals, requiring safety data sheet knowledge.
- May require driving or riding in a vehicle for two or more hours at a time.
