About the role

In your role, you'll support those that are in our facilities who are interfacing and providing care to our patients and community members. We believe that our collective efforts will shape a healthier future for the communities we serve.

Responsibilities

• Inspects, installs, repairs and replaces pipes, fittings and plumbing fixtures to maintain the heating, water, gas and drainage systems of hospital facilities.
• Installs, repairs, and maintains plant plumbing systems including domestic hot and cold water, sewer and drain systems, and their related equipment, devices, and fixtures.
• Installs, repairs, and maintains other plumbing related systems including hydronic and steam heating systems, chilled water-cooling systems, lawn sprinkler systems and their related equipment, devices and fixtures.
• Troubleshoots problems in plumbing and mechanical equipment and systems.
• Assembles, installs, repairs and maintains other various Mechanical systems and equipment.
• Aids and acts as a resource for other maintenance staff with regard to mechanical and plumbing problems and issues.

Requirements

• Education: 2 years post high school vocational/ specialized training required.
• Licensed Plumber, Required.
• Valid driver license, Required.
• Minimum Work Experience: 3 years related work experience, Required.

Qualifications

• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
