Responsibilities
- Inspect, repair and perform maintenance on all types of plumbing systems to include heating, steam, gas lines and medical gas systems.
- Install and maintain pipe assemblies, plumbing fixtures and fittings.
- Test fire system valves, tamper switches, fire pumps and dry deluge fire systems.
- Repair and maintain steam stations, pressure relief valves, heating/condensate return stations, back flow preventers and sewer/storm drains.
- Occasionally be assigned across multiple Cleveland Clinic locations.
Requirements
- A High School Diploma or equivalent
- Four years of experience as a plumber, including experience with pressurized gas systems, vacuum systems, steam, hot water and fire protection systems
Preferred qualifications
- Plumbing License through the state of Florida’s Department of Commerce
- Certified Medical Gas Certification through the National Inspection Testing and Certification Corporation (NITC)
- Certified Backflow Tester Certification through the state of Florida’s Department of Commerce

Pay Range
Minimum hourly: $27.65
Maximum hourly: $42.17
