Join Honeywell Aerospace as a Plumber and play a key role in installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems for water distribution and wastewater disposal. This position involves diverse work, including piping installations for air compressors, boilers, vacuum pumps, and hydraulic presses. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is available for eligible candidates. The role is based in Minneapolis, with relocation assistance offered to eligible candidates.

Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures.
  • Inspect plumbing systems and identify issues or potential problems.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and building specifications to map layout for pipes, drainage systems, and other plumbing materials.
  • Perform routine maintenance of plumbing systems to prevent emergencies.
  • Collaborate with contractors, construction workers, electricians, and other professionals on plumbing installations.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal plumbing codes and regulations.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients regarding plumbing issues and solutions.
  • Select routing of piping and instruct helpers, exercising judgment to avoid breakage or leakage.

Requirements

  • Ability to read and interpret building drawings and layouts.
  • Knowledge of plumbing methods and regulations.
  • Valid Journeyman's license.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience with both residential and commercial plumbing systems.
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams.
  • Must be a U.S. person (U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status under asylum or refugee status) due to U.S. export control laws.
  • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without sponsorship.

Pay

The hourly pay range for this position is $45.76. Compensation may vary based on factors such as scope and responsibilities of the role, candidate's work experience, education, training, key skills, and market considerations.
