Join Honeywell Aerospace as a Plumber and receive a $5,000 Sign-On Bonus for eligible candidates. This role is based in Minneapolis, and relocation assistance is available to eligible candidates.

Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures.
  • Inspect plumbing systems and identify issues or potential problems.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and building specifications to map layout for pipes, drainage systems, and other plumbing materials.
  • Perform routine maintenance of plumbing systems to prevent emergencies.
  • Collaborate with contractors, construction workers, electricians, and other professionals on plumbing installations.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal plumbing codes and regulations.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients regarding plumbing issues and solutions.
  • Install and maintain complete piping installations for connecting air compressors, boilers, vacuum pumps, and hydraulic presses.
  • Use judgment in making installations where care is necessary to avoid breakage or leakage.
  • Select routing of piping and instruct helpers.

Requirements

  • Ability to read and interpret building drawings, layouts, and blueprints.
  • Knowledge of plumbing methods, regulations, and technical diagrams.
  • Valid Journeyman's license.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience with both residential and commercial plumbing systems.

Pay

The hourly pay range for this position is $45.76. Please note that this compensation information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
