About the Role
The Palletizer must know all OEM tire marking requirements and properly affix 2D sticker; High Point Sticker; Paint Dauber; crayon marking; spray adhesive, conicity tags, article number and Palletizer I.D. The Palletizer will remove PLT Tires up to 45#’s from waist high conveyor and stacked from floor to shoulder high on a pallet at 200 tires per hour rate. The Palletizer will occasionally use fork lifts when necessary. Must be certified to operate a Fork Lift through the Safety Department. Responsible for the proper care and safe operation of this material handling equipment. The Palletizer will follow standard practices and perform all work necessary to promptly and accurately obtain quality and quantity production, and keeping work areas neat, clean, aligned and orderly. The Palletizer will follow all plant policies, environmental policies, and plant and departmental safety policies. The Palletizer must be able to communicate with other palletizers, warehouse truckers, PLT Final Finish Supervision and Department Manager. Perform other duties as directed by the PLT Final Finish Supervisor or Department Manager.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED recommended
- Applicants without a High School Diploma or GED, OR must complete In-House Competency Test (non-core jobs only) to be deemed eligible
- 0-1 year of manufacturing experience needed

ENVIRONMENT
Safety is our highest priority and safety procedures/ guidelines must be always adhered to. This includes safety wear such as hearing protection and steel toe shoes. New Hires will likely be placed on a shift that includes evenings and weekends. The job is within a non-climate controlled environment where you will be exposed to temperature swings (hot/cold), forklift and pedestrian traffic, and noise. Majority of work completed in a high heat environment. The role involves various physical tasks, including lifting, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and operating machinery, with comprehensive training provided.

HOURLY PAY
The hourly rate for this position is $22.22 per hour. This position is also eligible for a quarterly incentive program. This role will be eligible for shift differential which is added onto your hourly rate. The additional shift differential is $0.20 per hour for overnight shifts, $0.15 per hour for evening shifts, and $1.00 per hour for weekend shifts. Pay rate is based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
