Palletizer

Job Description

The person who occupies this position is responsible for unloading cases from conveyors and stacking them onto pallets according to carton specifications. Responsibilities include:

• Retrieves packed cases from conveyors and stacks them onto pallets according to customer specifications
• Palletizer wraps top of loaded pallet to prevent higher boxes from falling when load is moved
• Pulls loaded skid with handtruck to area where skid is retrieved by forklift (approximately 70 ft)
• Constructs cardboard tops to cover boxes that do not have folding flaps

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required. Machines, Tools, Equipment, Software: No experience needed (entry-level). Must be able to speak, read and write English. Handtruck and tape (to construct box covers).
