PLC Technician

This position is located in a manufacturing plant in Aliquippa.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance the plant’s process control and drive programs.
• Provide programming for plant process control equipment.
• Assist with the development and implementation of new PLC technologies to drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with impacted stakeholders around needs and project status.
• Support the plant’s networking and computer systems as needed.
• Troubleshoot and install electrical circuits up to 480V.

Requirements

• Certification or specialized education in process control is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability with the engineering, programming, and implementation of industrial control systems.
• Proven experience with control systems components, ladder logic programming, HMI programming, and their applications.
• Aptitude for instrumentation and controls design.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, Project, and AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma methodology is a plus.
• Self-starter with excellent organization skills to handle multiple priorities effectively.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
