Pay
$39.00 - $46.00 per hour plus $1.50 shift differential for night shift.
Schedule
3rd shift, Monday - Friday (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair PLC-controlled systems and related components.
- Perform intermediate programming and safety configuration.
- Program and modify PLC logic using standard programming languages (e.g., ladder logic, function block).
- Integrate PLCs with HMIs, sensors, and actuators.
- Collaborate with engineering teams on system upgrades and improvements.
- Train junior technicians and provide technical support.
- Support mechanical technicians as needed (approximately 30% of the time).
- Utilize predictive measures to enhance reliability and implement continuous reliability improvement (CRI) standards and practices.
- Respond to emergencies with immediate action to address breakdowns and other suddenly developed conditions.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of hands-on professional experience troubleshooting and supporting PLC-controlled equipment (required).
- Experience in ladder logic programming in Allen Bradley Logix/Studio 5000 Software (preferred).
- Proficient in programming user-defined tags, add-on instructions, and structured text programming (preferred).
- Experience with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP) (preferred).
- Experience in editing HMI applications in FactoryTalk View Studio (preferred).
