Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Equipment Uptime & PLC Automation Support
- Program, modify, and optimize industrial control systems
- Troubleshoot and develop ladder logic, structured text, and function block programs
- Document program changes, maintain revision control, and ensure regular system backups
- Electrical Distribution & Motor Control Systems
- Repair, maintain, and install industrial electrical systems
- Troubleshoot complex electrical and automation issues
- Hydraulic Controls & Systems
- Diagnose mechanical and electro-hydraulic issues
- Work collaboratively with maintenance and engineering teams
- Preventive Maintenance & Reliability
- Perform preventive maintenance on forging equipment and automated systems
- Recommend improvements to enhance equipment uptime, reliability, and operational safety
- Support root-cause analysis investigations
- Safety & Compliance
- Follow NEC regulations for electrical systems
- Adhere to all facility safety programs and requirements
Job Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in hydraulic equipment automation, PLC programming, and electrical/hydraulic troubleshooting
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Technical certifications or trade school training preferred
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- 1st shift position, with overtime as needed
- Valid driver’s license required
- Experience with forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts is a plus
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work effectively with maintenance, engineering, and operations teams.
Proven ability to maintain accurate documentation and a clean, organized workstation.
