Playground/Shade Installer – Santa Fe, TX

About the role

Our growing company is looking for a hard-working and skilled construction worker to help bring our construction plans to life. Under our construction manager’s direction, you will work alongside a team of other skilled laborers and tradesmen, and apply your knowledge of construction methods, tools, and equipment to keep the project on track. We will train you how to build playgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all health and safety regulations on-site to ensure that you and your team members are not injured.
• Unload and stack all building materials and tools needed for a project so that everything is accessible and easy to find.
• Support tradespeople and heavy equipment workers to complete the plumbing, electrical, roofing, and any other aspect of the project.
• Ensure that all materials, tools, and other debris from the build have been removed at the end of the project to make sure the work site is clean.
• Dispose of any debris, trash, or hazardous materials that are found on the site to prepare it for construction.

Requirements

• Previous construction experience (playground training provided).
• OSHA10 card (preferred but not required).
• Valid driver’s license.
• Some experience using construction equipment, forklift, hand tools, and power tools (highly preferred).
• Ability to follow directions and complete tasks, both independently and on a team.
• Physical agility, solid hand-eye coordination, and a good sense of balance.
• High school diploma or GED (preferred).
• Knowledge of basic engineering and construction laborer methods (preferred).
• Great work ethic and physical stamina.
