Player Services Cashier
Cherokee Nation Entertainment, operating Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa, is seeking a Player Services Cashier to provide a positive and enjoyable gaming experience for guests.
About the role
This position involves handling financial transactions, promoting the casino's rewards program, and ensuring guest satisfaction. Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and potential overnights is required.
Responsibilities
- Process cash and non-cash transactions, including chip issuance and redemption, currency exchanges, and check cashing.
- Promote and explain rewards program benefits, ongoing promotions, and other relevant information to guests.
- Enroll guests into the rewards program and issue membership cards.
- Conduct entry-level player evaluations and make outbound calls as needed.
- Verify and distribute payments for jackpots and special payouts.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions.
- Handle guest requests, disputes, and complaints professionally.
- Safeguard company assets and reconcile daily transactions.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- One year of cash handling or customer service experience preferred.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to perform basic mathematical computations accurately.
- Knowledge of casino games and property amenities.
- Ability to learn and explain gaming promotions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and often demanding environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to work in a casino environment, which may include exposure to second-hand smoke and crowd noise.
- Ability to obtain and maintain licensing by the appropriate gaming authority.
- Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.
