Plating Production Technician

About the role

Vishay Dale Electronics – Columbus, NE is currently seeking applicants for a Plating Production Technician – 1st Shift (Monday – Friday 7:00am-3:30pm). Overtime is available as needed.

Responsibilities

• Builds custom samples and prototypes for evaluation.
• Performs special testing of products as necessary.
• Determines specific requirements from Dale specification for plating bath maintenance.
• Performs bath maintenance for plating lab.
• Follows Engineering or Production direction to perform and / or assist with equipment / material debug and changeovers.
• Completes the manufacture of products following the appropriate company specifications or under engineering or production direction.

Requirements

• Associates degree in technical field or a minimum of 2 years’ equivalent experience.
• Eye-hand coordination and good manual dexterity to accurately process the small parts manufactured.
• Ability to do to average to heavy lifting, occasionally more than 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15.
