Platform Verification Engineer - Embedded Systems

About the role

The Platform Verification Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the safety and reliability of embedded systems through rigorous testing and validation processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans to verify system functionality and compliance with safety standards.
• Perform hardware and software testing on embedded systems to identify and resolve defects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software developers, firmware engineers, and quality assurance to ensure comprehensive verification coverage.
• Document test results and provide technical guidance to other team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in embedded systems development and testing.
• Experience with safety certification processes and standards such as ISO 26262, IEC 61508, or similar.
• Strong understanding of hardware design principles and embedded system architectures.
• Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in embedded systems development (e.g., C, C++, Python).
• Experience with testing tools and methodologies, including static and dynamic analysis tools.

Qualifications

• Experience with automotive or aerospace industry standards is a plus.
• Knowledge of functional safety concepts and risk management techniques.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Pay

Salary range: $100,000 - $150,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
