About the role

The Lockheed Martin FBM Program is seeking an experienced and skilled Embedded Systems Engineer - Requirements & Verification.

Responsibilities

  • Perform requirements writing, technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for package level systems, including batteries and power systems.
  • Ensure the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
  • Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Engineering or related technical discipline.
  • Experience in Systems Engineering, specifically in the areas of requirements, verification, and/or Systems Integration.
  • Effective communication skills, including ability to explain complex concepts, lead reviews, and negotiate requirements.
  • Experience integrating across functional organizations.
  • MS Office software including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and/or Project.
  • Experience with, or on, the FBM program, working with the Navy, or Submarine exposure is highly desired.

  • Self-starter, able to complete work with general direction.

Skills

Pay

Negotiable based on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
