Platform Testing Specialist

About the role

The Platform Testing Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the security and functionality of various software platforms through rigorous testing processes. This includes both manual and automated testing methods to identify and report bugs or issues.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans for new and existing software platforms
• Identify and document bugs or issues found during testing
• Work closely with development teams to resolve identified issues
• Collaborate with other security and IT teams to ensure compliance with security standards
• Stay updated with the latest testing methodologies and tools

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• At least 2 years of experience in software testing or a related field
• Experience with automated and manual testing tools
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Knowledge of software testing methodologies and best practices
• Experience with at least one programming language
• Experience with version control systems
• Experience with cloud-based testing environments

Skills

• Proficiency in testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or similar
• Good understanding of software architecture and design patterns
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
