Key Responsibilities
- Perform functional and electrical validation of hardware platforms and PCB assemblies against product requirements.
- Execute board-level testing to evaluate signal integrity, power integrity, and overall system performance.
- Support silicon bring-up activities, including process, voltage, temperature (PVT), thermal, and power characterization.
- Validate high-speed interfaces such as PCIe, including compliance testing, eye diagram analysis, signal margin evaluation, and BER testing.
- Troubleshoot hardware issues, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to implement corrective actions.
- Develop and execute Design of Experiments (DoE) to evaluate design changes and optimize system performance.
- Validate power management systems, sequencing, transient response, efficiency, and embedded controller functionality.
- Perform validation of low-speed communication interfaces such as I C and ensure protocol compliance.
- Document validation results, test reports, and engineering findings to support product development and quality initiatives.
- Collaborate with Hardware, Firmware, Systems, and Design Engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- 3 - 5+ years of hardware validation and board-level testing experience.
- Strong understanding of signal integrity (SI) and power integrity (PI) principles.
- Experience validating PCIe, I C, and other communication interfaces.
- Hands-on experience using laboratory equipment including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and programmable power supplies.
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
- Knowledge of embedded controllers, power sequencing, and hardware architecture.
- Experience with scripting or automation using Python, MATLAB, or similar tools.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
