Platform Engineer (Remote)

We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to work on a contract basis. The role involves designing and maintaining scalable infrastructure for a platform serving a large user base. Candidates will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high availability and performance of the system.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure components for a cloud-based platform.
• Optimize system performance, reliability, and security through monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Lead initiatives to improve platform scalability, availability, and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to implement infrastructure changes and upgrades.
• Develop and enforce best practices for infrastructure management, deployment, and configuration.

Requirements

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Proficiency in containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment strategies.
• Familiarity with Linux systems administration and shell scripting.

$40 - $100/hour
