About the role

The Internal WWT IT team is the backbone of our company’s technological infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations and continuous innovation. Our team is dedicated to managing and supporting the company’s technology infrastructure, ensuring the smooth operation of hardware, software, networks, and data systems, while providing top-notch technical support to employees.

Responsibilities

  • Help deploy and operate containerized services on Kubernetes / OpenShift, packaged and released via Helm
  • Contribute to an in-house Go control-plane service that reconciles Kubernetes resources to provision and manage isolated per-user environments — make changes to reconcile logic and add features within established patterns
  • Manage multi-environment configuration and promote changes safely across environments
  • Apply security and least-privilege practices to deployments
  • Work with PostgreSQL as a primary data store—queries, migrations, and routine operations
  • Help manage deployment-time secrets across environments
  • Build and maintain monitoring, dashboards, and alerting with Grafana and related tooling
  • Instrument services for health, performance, and usage insight
  • Participate in incident response and on-call; investigate issues and drive fixes
  • Write and maintain automation, tooling, and service code that supports the platform
  • Provide reliable local and staging environments for application developers
  • Improve deployment safety, rollback, and release confidence ahead of launches
  • Partner with application teams to ship features into production
  • This role requires comfort working alongside AI-powered tools while maintaining strong engineering judgment, validation, and accountability for outcomes.
  • Leverage approved AI tools and agents to assist with platform operations, troubleshooting, automation, documentation, and workflow efficiency under established governance and best practices.
  • Engineers on the INFOPS IT Architecture team are expected to actively use and support AI-assisted and agentic engineering workflows as part of their day-to-day work.

Qualifications

  • 4-6 years of professional infrastructure, platform, DevOps, or SRE experience
  • Hands-on Kubernetes experience; experience with OpenShift a plus
  • Working competency in Go, with the ability to make changes to an existing service
  • Experience with Helm for packaging and deployment
  • Experience working with PostgreSQL (queries, migrations, basic operations)
  • Experience with Grafana or comparable monitoring/observability tooling (e.g., Prometheus)
  • Solid software development experience—comfortable writing and maintaining automation, tooling, and service code
  • Exposure to infrastructure-as-code practices

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with the Kubernetes operator/controller pattern (CRDs, reconciliation)
  • Production PostgreSQL operations experience (backups, tuning, scaling)
  • Experience supporting product launches or scaling for external customers
  • Strong instincts for making complex or automated system behavior observable and trustworthy in production

Pay

A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $90,00 to $112,500 annually.
