Platform Engineer

About the role

This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. Responsibilities

• Design and operate core services for high-scale distributed systems
• Architect and manage Kafka-based event streaming systems
• Develop internal developer tooling to enhance engineering productivity
• Build frameworks for creating intelligent, automated workflows
• Collaborate with engineering, data, and AI teams to tackle complex computing challenges

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in software engineering, particularly in fintech or large-scale distributed systems
• Strong hands-on experience with Kafka-based event-driven architectures
• Deep expertise in distributed systems and high-availability services
• Proven production experience in AWS cloud environments
• Experience with building developer platforms or internal tooling that enhances team productivity
• Proactive mindset with a focus on execution and building solutions

Pay

$125,000 – $150,000 annually
