Platform Engineer
Job Location: Charlotte, NC (Day One Onsite - Hybrid)
About the role
Experience to define and deliver how engineering teams consume platform capabilities through intuitive self-service developer workflows. This role will own the architecture design and implementation of developer-facing platform experiences enabling teams to onboard, build, deploy, and operate applications efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Design and architect developer workflows, self-service capabilities, and platform integration patterns
- Design, develop, test, and maintain robust RESTful APIs and microservices using Python
- Build scalable backend services using frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django REST Framework
- Define how developers consume CI/CD automation, infrastructure, and platform services
- Partner with engineering and platform teams to translate business and technical requirements into scalable solutions
- Drive end-to-end delivery from architecture and design through implementation and adoption
- Develop reference architectures, reusable patterns, APIs, and automation frameworks
- Guide engineering teams on best practices and promote platform adoption across the organization
- Create technical documentation and conduct enablement sessions, workshops, and office hours

Pay
The base salary range for this full-time position in Charlotte, NC is $80,420 to $106,050 per year. This range covers base pay only; bonuses, incentives, and benefits will be discussed during the hiring process. Your exact offer will depend on objective, job-related factors such as your experience, skills, and qualifications. If a collective labor agreement applies, the relevant pay scale details will be shared.
