Platform Engineer
About the role
As a Platform Engineer at Booz Allen, you will use your technical skills to enhance mission-forward initiatives. Your responsibilities include managing, configuring, deploying, and maintaining platforms and integration tools like Kubernetes, Docker, Rancher, Helm, EKS, and Ceph. You'll also support your team in strategy and design, ensuring standards are met throughout the containerization process, and recommending resources for secure container adoption.

- Continue to strengthen DevOps skills while supporting critical cloud platform development
- Work with clients to leverage cloud platform technology for positive impact
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience managing, configuring, deploying, and maintaining platforms and integration tools
- Experience with containerization technologies, micro-service network architecture, and CI/CD tools
- Experience writing automation and provisioning scripts
- Experience administering storage and networking environments
- Experience with configuration management and Git-centric CI/CD workflows
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code environments and practices
Qualifications
- TS/SCI clearance
- HS diploma or GED
Skills
- Experience migrating applications in hybrid cloud, disconnected, or air-gapped environments
- Experience supporting enterprise air-gapped environments
- Experience with configuration management and Git-centric CI/CD workflows
- Knowledge of the ZT technology ecosystem, including ZTNA, IDP, DLP, EDR, XDR, MFA, data tagging, or comply to connection (C2C)
- Knowledge of leading ICAM solutions, including Ping, AD, or LDAP, and how they are part of the ZT ecosystem

Pay
The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD).
Schedule
Employees working full-time or part-time on a regular basis are eligible to participate in Booz Allen's benefit programs. Those not meeting the threshold are only eligible for select offerings, not inclusive of health benefits.
