Platform Engineer
About the role
The Platform Engineer role is part of the Device Engineering team and involves supporting application deployment, mobile device management, and the integration of hardware and software peripherals to enable efficient operational workflows. The position requires partnering with internal and external stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable mobile solutions that meet business needs across enterprise operations.
Responsibilities
- Support the deployment and lifecycle management of mobile applications and devices using enterprise mobility management platforms, including configuration, policy enforcement, and operational readiness.
- Cook up with cross-functional teams to plan, implement, and support standardized device configurations and deployment approaches.
- Integrate mobile devices and applications with hardware and software peripherals such as barcode scanners, NFC readers, and printers.
- Partner with business and technical stakeholders to define requirements and deliver solutions aligned with security and compliance standards.
- Contribute to issue resolution, technical documentation, and continuous improvement of mobile solutions.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance mobile applications for iOS and Android using native and/or hybrid frameworks.
- Apply modern software development lifecycle practices, including source control and automated pipelines, to deliver secure and scalable solutions.
Requirements
- Experience: 4–5 years of relevant experience supporting enterprise mobile environments, including mobile application deployment, device lifecycle management, and operational support.
- Technical Skills: Experience administering enterprise mobile device management solutions, preferably Workspace ONE (AirWatch); demonstrated experience integrating mobile devices with hardware and software peripherals (barcode scanners, NFC readers, printers, SDKs); strong understanding of deployment practices and device configuration standards; experience developing mobile applications for iOS and Android using native and/or hybrid frameworks; working knowledge of software development lifecycle practices, secure coding principles, Python, scripting, and systems integration.
Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with the Flutter framework is preferred; Knowledge of enterprise tools such as SharePoint, Power Automate, Tableau, and Power BI.

Compensation is commensurate with experience.
Schedule
This role is primarily onsite in Kissimmee, Florida, with 4 days in-office and 1 day remote.
