Platform Engineer
About the role
ACPWB is seeking a Platform Engineer to help the Technology & Engineering team scale the ACPWB compensation benchmarking platform to meet growing demand from the advisory practice. You will work in Airflow and Redshift, contribute to database administration and performance tuning initiatives, and collaborate with a team of 9 who take engineering craft seriously and treat technical debt as a real liability.
The Platform Engineer role in ACPWB's Technology & Engineering group is for someone who finds real satisfaction in making complex systems work well. You will take responsibility for database administration and performance tuning using Airflow and Redshift on Amazon Web Services (AWS), and your work will have immediate, visible impact on the quality and efficiency of ACPWB's analytical operations. We have 9 people on this team. Every contribution matters.
The Platform Engineer will join ACPWB's Technology & Engineering group and own a defined portion of the ACPWB compensation benchmarking platform. The work spans Airflow and Redshift on Amazon Web Services (AWS), balancing feature development with the maintenance and reliability that a professional services firm depends on. We treat engineering as a professional discipline here — not a cost center. That distinction affects how this team operates day to day.

- Demonstrated curiosity about new tools and technologies with evidence of self-directed technical learning
- Experience building and operating systems on Amazon Web Services (AWS) in a professional environment
- Experience with cloud infrastructure management including compute, storage, and networking on Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Skills
- Experience with data orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow, Prefect, or equivalent
- Prior experience in a professional services or advisory firm technology environment
