Platform/Cloud Engineer

What will you do?

• Act as systems engineer for Windows-based servers and Middleware applications.
• Install, and administer operating systems and Middleware software to provide needed capabilities for the user environment.
• Analyze and identify inefficiencies or problems within Middleware systems, determine the need, and work to resolve the issue.
• Provide technical instructions and training to other support staff and provide leadership and mentoring when necessary.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software problems during working hours and after hours as required by urgency or nature of situation.

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
• Minimum 3-5 years related work experience
• Experience with Windows Server OS Administration
• Experience with enterprise software installation and administration
• Basic operation of Microsoft Office and other productivity software

Who would excel in this role?

• Mission critical experience with Microsoft Azure
• Mission critical experience with M365
• Mission critical experience with ITIL or similar methodologies
• Mission critical experience with Microsoft certifications
• Mission critical experience with scripting technologies
• Mission critical experience with Citrix, VMWare, MS Exchange, SQL Server Administration
