Platform/Cloud Engineer
About the role
The Platform/Cloud Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based solutions. This role requires a strong background in software engineering and IT, with experience in Windows, Linux, and AIX server environments.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud-based solutions
- Configure and maintain applications and databases
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products
- Participate in Agile development and release practices
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Computer Science with 5+ years of experience in software engineering or IT
- At least 2 years of experience in roles involving application installation and configuration, application design, or architecture design
- Experience with Windows architecture, SQL Server, Linux servers, and AIX servers
- Knowledge of Cloud architecture, CICD Pipeline, and databases (SQL, DB2, Oracle)
- Experience working in Agile teams and knowledge of Agile development & release practices
- Experience as a member of an application and/or infrastructure delivery team
- Experience in deploying and configuring infrastructure and application software
- Experience in the banking industry
Qualifications
- US Citizen, Green Card, OPT-EAD, CPT, H-1B, H4-EAD, L2-EAD, GC-EAD
Skills
- Cloud architecture and application introduction
- CICD Pipeline
- Databases (SQL, DB2, Oracle)
- Agile development and release practices
- SAFe, Enterprise Scrum, Kanban, Rally, etc.
- Deploying and configuring infrastructure and application software
- Experience in the banking industry
