Platform Architect

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Kubernetes and Cloud-Native Engineer to join our team in Austin, TX. This role requires deep expertise in Kubernetes cluster management, cloud-native application development, and multi-cloud infrastructure, with a strong emphasis on automation, security, and observability.

Required Skills

• Strong expertise in Kubernetes (cluster design, administration, scaling, upgrades, security)
• Proficient in Golang (Go) for developing cloud-native applications, Kubernetes operators, and automation tools
• Hands-on experience with multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Strong understanding of containerization using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation)
• Experience with GitOps tools such as Argo CD or Flux
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps
• Experience with service mesh technologies like Istio or Linkerd
• Expertise in observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, OpenTelemetry
• Strong Linux administration and networking fundamentals
• Experience implementing Kubernetes security, RBAC, Network Policies, Secrets Management, and Policy Enforcement
• Good understanding of microservices architecture and cloud-native design patterns
