Job Summary

Owes the Azure platform architecture, CI/CD standards, and DevOps best practices to ensure scalable, secure, and high-performing enterprise technology environments. Designs and governs enterprise platform architecture aligned with organizational standards while enabling reliable infrastructure, automation, and system integration capabilities across multiple business platforms. Evaluates existing platform environments to identify opportunities for optimization, standardization, and performance improvement, and works closely with engineering, infrastructure, and business teams to deliver resilient and scalable platform solutions. Develops platform architecture documentation, deployment pipelines, and governance frameworks while ensuring compliance with security, performance, and scalability requirements.

About the Role

The Platform Architect is responsible for owning the Azure platform architecture, CI/CD standards, and DevOps best practices to ensure scalable, secure, and high-performing enterprise technology environments. They develop platform architecture documentation, deployment pipelines, and governance frameworks while ensuring compliance with security, performance, and scalability requirements.

• Evaluates existing platform environments to identify opportunities for optimization, standardization, and performance improvement
• Works closely with engineering, infrastructure, and business teams to deliver resilient and scalable platform solutions
• Develops platform architecture documentation, deployment pipelines, and governance frameworks
• Ensures compliance with security, performance, and scalability requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• 7+ years of experience in platform architecture, cloud infrastructure, or enterprise systems engineering
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure services, cloud architecture, and infrastructure design
• Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Strong understanding of containerization, infrastructure as code, APIs, and automation tools
• Proven ability to design scalable platform solutions aligned with business objectives

Qualifications

• Retail or grocery industry experience strongly preferred, with familiarity in POS, inventory, and enterprise operations systems
