Plate Mounter - Flexible Packaging (PM Shift) - Plant 3

Belmark is seeking an individual to join our Flexible Packaging plant in De Pere, WI. We create many of the labels, cartons, pressure‑sensitive and flexible films that consumers see daily. In this role you will be responsible for accurately mounting plates onto cylinders, washing plates, and filing them according to job number.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety procedures and adhere to Safe Quality Foods requirements.
• Mount plates accurately according to rewind position and schedule.
• Ensure plates for a job are mounted in a timely manner to keep presses running.
• Prevent damage to plates and cylinders.
• Ensure the next shift has at least one job mounted to reduce downtime.
• Wash plates from completed jobs.
• Peel sticky backing off cylinders.
• File plates according to job number.
• Fill alcohol, acetate, and soap bottles.
• Keep the plate‑wash and plate‑mounting areas clean.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education equivalent to two (2) years of high school.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and follow simple written and oral instructions.
• Knowledge of the English language.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers, decimals, and fractions.
• Ability to operate a computer.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• May be required to work overtime.
• Requires nearly constant concentration and attention to detail.
• Physical ability to stand and walk for 90 % of work time; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl for 10 % of work time.
• Visual ability to see clearly at 20 inches or less, observe an area in all directions while eyes are fixed, judge distances and spatial relationships, and adjust focus.
• Use hands for 100 % of work time (e.g., mounting plates) and reach above shoulders for 25 % of work time (e.g., filing up to ~6 ft).
• Lift 10 lb or less 25 % of the time; 25 lb or less 30 % of the time; 50 lb or less 35 % of the time; may move items weighing over 100 lb.
• Eligibility for internal transfers based on overall performance, attendance record, qualifications, and tenure in the current position.

Pay

$23.00 – $25.00 per hour, with a $2.00 per hour shift differential for the PM shift.

Schedule

PM shift, 3:00 P.M. – 3:00 A.M., 12‑hour shifts on a 3‑days‑on, 1‑day‑off, 3‑days‑on, 7‑days‑off rotation. No swing shift. Overtime after 36 hours.
