Plastics Mold Technician - 3rd Shift

About the Role

Train in all job functions relating to the packers, floor person, and Mold Technician responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Supervisor in startups and be able to run machines without any help.
• Troubleshoot problems and inform supervisor or maintenance where issues are occurring.
• Clean, polish molds and core rods.
• Take over supervisor’s job duties when they are absent.
• Have knowledge of all QC requirements on bottles and perform all necessary tests on the bottles.
• Help train others on printing boxes, bottle packaging, and pallet organization.

Requirements

• Experience preferred in a plastic-related field or a good mechanical background.
• Ability to troubleshoot and process issues that arise.
• Computer knowledge.
• Complete all required Alphapointe employee classes and pass a ninety-day trial period.
• Able to lift, push, or pull up to one hundred pounds.
• Able to pull preforms off core rods using a brass tool in a timely manner.

Pay

$19.00/hr - $24.00/hr
