About the role
Work in a non-climate controlled environment following all Quality, Safety & Environmental Procedures.
- Move, load, and package Raw and Finished Goods.
- Complete box sheets correctly with box numbers, finished end temperatures, correct weights, and indicate whether the box is “Conforming” or “Non-Conforming”.
- Ensure that boxes are labelled correctly—Product ID, correct weights, and any other customer requirements.
- Retrieve a quality sample from each box to place on the quality board for that line for quality inspections.
- Complete changeovers from one product to another, ensuring there isn’t any contamination.
- Use an overhead crane to transfer blending totes of mixed materials to the top of the extruder.
- Uphold Ravago’s Code of Conduct.
- Complete other duties as assigned by the Team Leader as needed.
Forklift experience is preferred but not required.
Requirements
- Regularly lift and carry 55 lbs.
- Repeatedly reach with hands and arms.
- Climb straight incline ladders.
- Use of fingers and hands for packaging and writing.
- Color vision.
- Communicate verbally, read and comprehend information, and type when needed.
