About the Division
The Division of Plastic Surgery provides sophisticated state-of-the-art services in aesthetic medicine and surgery, burns and complex wounds, hand, breast/facial/body procedures, general reconstructive surgery, and craniofacial pediatric plastic surgery. We operate at Jacobs Medical Center, Hillcrest Medical Center, Rady Children’s Health and the Jennifer Moreno Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Medical Center. We also offer the full range of cosmetic services at our clinics in Chancellor Park (UTC area) and Hillcrest Medical Center.
Education
This program provides exemplary patient care and clinical education, ultimately leading residency graduates to a board certification in plastic surgery and to pursue creative research within the ever-changing practice environment.
Research
- Our team conducts cutting-edge research in plastic surgery, including studies on tissue engineering, wound healing, and aesthetic procedures.
Qualifications
Applicants should have completed an accredited surgical residency program and hold a medical degree. Additional qualifications may vary depending on specific positions.
