About the role
We are seeking a Plastic Surgeon to join our 6 physician and 1 PA-C practice. We perform a high volume of breast reduction, breast reconstruction, and transgender top surgery, as well as a significant volume of general and complex reconstructive surgery referred by our surgical colleagues. Our practice covers both the Kaiser Permanente Oakland and Richmond campuses, and we operate and have clinic at both.
Responsibilities
- Perform a wide scope of plastic surgery procedures including breast reduction, breast reconstruction, transgender top surgery, general and complex reconstructive surgery, ortho trauma, chest wall recon, sarcoma, and various general reconstructive problems.
- Participate in a close-knit, collegial group practice where you can develop a varied set of plastic surgery skills.
- Collaborate with multiple fellowship-trained microsurgeons, though microsurgery is not expected to be performed.
- Assist with patient care and evaluations under the supervision of more experienced surgeons.
- Contribute to the development of the practice's diverse patient mix, which may include a mix of breast and body cosmetic procedures.
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Plastic Surgery.
- A California Medical License.
- Comfortable with a variety of plastic surgery procedures, including breast and body cosmetic procedures.
- Experience in general and complex reconstructive surgery.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a group setting.
