Responsibilities

• Performing basic to complex surgical procedures including but not limited to rhinoplasty, breast procedures and body contouring.
• Following department procedures by communicating with the technicians and assistants to assemble surgical packs, supplies and instruments for surgical cases.
• Maintaining appropriate quantities of surgical supplies and equipment by restocking room with necessary equipment and supplies and apprises supervisor of special requests for surgical supplies and equipment.

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted Board-Certified Cosmetic Surgery License
• Minimum 3 years experience
• Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination.
• Requires prolonged, frequent standing, sitting, and walking.
• Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Requires normal or corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
• Requires hearing, vision, and manual dexterity to operate anesthesia equipment, ventilator, regulators, gas cylinders, pulse-oximeter, EKG-monitor, defibrillator, irrigation equipment, intra-venous equipment and supplies, stethoscope.
• Requires exposure to communicable diseases, blood, or body fluids.

• Education: Active, unrestricted Board-Certified Cosmetic Surgery License
