Key Responsibilities
- Operate press equipment safely and efficiently
- Review and interpret quality alerts and part specifications before starting a job
- Perform first-piece inspections and compare against approved first articles
- Accurately complete production logs, job startup checklists, and operator logs
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe workstations in accordance with environmental and safety guidelines
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth shift transitions
- Communicate promptly with supervisors regarding any quality issues
Required Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
- Willingness to adhere to all safety and quality procedures
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Schedule
- Week1: Monday till Wednesday: 6:00 am -12:15 pm / Thursday & Friday: 6:00 am-6:15 pm/ Saturday & Sunday: OFF
- Week2: Monday till Wednesday: 6:00 am -12:15 pm / Thursday & Friday: OFF / Saturday & Sunday: 6:00 am-6:15 pm
Work Environment & Expectations
- Manufacturing environment that may be hot, noisy, dirty
- Substantial physical effort - extensive reaching, lifting, stretching, bending and twisting
- Stop production if the 3-5-10 rule or set process doesn't result in a quality product.
